Managerial Rumours

Goughie and Femi.

Rumours have started that current Pursuers boss Femi Komolafe is to step down at the end of the season despite him receiving the backing of senior players within the squad. He has confirmed that he will not be heading across to the USA aka Richard Gough and will be available for selection next season.

Early favourite to replace him in the hot seat is former manager Scott Narey who previously lead the team to promotion and two cup finals. Narey has been quoted as saying " Much will depend on exactly how much I have to drink at the team day out on Saturday, must rest assured any more than 12 pints from the Pursuers kitty will see me return in a player/manager role".

Chris Byrne has apparently also submitted his CV to the Pursuers board, but speculation linking him to a job with 1st Division new boys Dundee refuses to go away and may well cost him the opportunity of managing a big club.
